	Valley Care Giving is the latest of our growing ministry coverage. Derived from a need to reach our elderly community with the love and hope of Christ, this ministry links people that have a heart to serve with elderly folks who could use a helping hand. 	The Soldiers of Christ is a group of local and regional volunteers committed to reach out to young gang members and ex-convicts. As many of the volunteers came from a life of imprisonment, drugs and violence, who now have found new life in Christ, the message is strong and clear to attendees of SOC events. With food, cutting edge rap artists and a life-changing message, this program is making an incredible impact in our community. Ministry leader Carlos Villalobos.
	The grant writing team has been working hard behind the scenes to help acquire available funds through federal and local grant opportunities. As resources often fall short of vision, the objective of this program is to help the SRDC realize its dreams of reaching out to a community through grants and corporate giving.
