Willie (electric/acoustic guitars) - I've played in bands and with friends most of my teen and adult life. As guitarist for my home church, and being a part of the Search & Rescue ministry, my mission for playing is to see lives on the streets change through the message in our music. My relationship with Jesus has become closer than ever through not simply believing in Him, but serving Him with my life. What a difference He has made! I currently serve in the music ministry at St. Bernard's Parish, Tracy, CA. Thanks to my wife for supporting me in this ministry and to God for the child growing inside her (due Sept. 11). Eddie (bass, vocals) - I played guitar alongside my dad in church during my very early teens. I wasn't into church, or Jesus, God, but I always felt a sense of peace at that time in my life. A few years later I started playing bass and soon joined a secular rock band that transitioned into a variety show band. I gave myself a time limit to pursue a career in music and if I didn't make it big I would abandon it all and settle down. I traveled around the country, did the drug scene. I experienced many things but what really hit me were the ruts and holes and depression that a reckless life brings. Time went on and for my music career it ran out. I left behind my music, my bass, got married and started a family, with my old baggage and all. The trials in life are difficult enough without old baggage, and soon the ruts and holes became bigger. I almost lost my job, I almost lost my marriage and I cried. I would think back, to that time of peace, of comfort, playing guitar alongside dad, in church, for Jesus, and I cried. That's when I heard that knock on the door. Jesus reminded me that for those tears He died. I received Him as Lord and Savior. I began to play music again, for Jesus. From playing guitar for prison ministry, International missions, street ministry, to singing with various vocal groups. Jesus has healed me. He has taught me to forgive and love myself as He has forgiven me and loves me. He has taught me to consider others more than myself. He's restored my marriage, provided for us abundantly. Currently I am the Director of Music Ministries and Worship Leader at Valley Community Baptist Church in Tracy, California. Ronnie (vocals, saxophone) - My musical career began at a very early age, beginning with the saxphone, clarinet, and piano. Later, I learned that God had placed a special gift in me to sing. Over the years, I have written and produced orginal material and about three years ago, recorded a demo CD. My family and peers encouraged me to press on in my music. Two years ago, I began to sing for the Lord in my home church every Sunday. This was new territory for me but I found a true peace in my spirit when singing for Him who gifted me. Last year, I was asked to sing with Search & Rescue and have truly understood what it means to be used of God. I have seen many people touched by songs and encouraged by the ministry. I currently serve in the music ministry at St. Bernard's Parish, Tracy, CA. Thanks to my family for always being there, and my friends who continue to encourage me, but most of all, thank you Jesus for the new heart that you have given me for you. Charlie (keyboards, guitar, vocals) - I have grown up serving God in the music ministry of my church for as long as I can remember. With a highly musical family, music has always been a passion of mine. I learned that using my giftings for the Lord was what I was called to do, in addition to spiritual leadership in my home and church. I have served as Youth Pastor and music minister in southern California prior to moving to Tracy. Today, following a distinct call from God to move to northern California, I worship at Grace Christian Center, Tracy, CA and am heavily involved in ministry to reach the lost and the youth in our community. Thanks to Jesus Christ for His provisions and for blessing this outreach. Thank you Liz for being my better half and for my two wonderful children, Eliana and Kayla for the blessing you are to me. Michael (drums, vocals) - My father sat me down at the age of 9 years old to teach me how to play my first "oldie." I believe the song was called "Honkey Tonk." Since then, music has always been an incredible passion of mine. I spent the first part of my life pursuing this passion in many different bands from Chico, CA to San Francisco, CA to Seattle, WA. My musical career began on the bass guitar and then eventually moved to the drums. When I came to know Jesus, my whole reason for playing changed dramatically. I love to see Him glorified! I serve today as Associate Pastor at Grace Christian Center in Tracy, CA and also pitch in on the worship team. I also serve the Lord as President of the Search & Rescue Dream Center. I would like to send a thanks out first and foremost to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my beautiful wife for putting up with my busy schedule, Punky, Lady Bug and Samantha, whom I adore, my mom and dad for their undying support, my other mom and dad for always praying for me, and my gang of friends who continue to sharpen iron with iron to encourage me (Prov 27:17). Thanks for listening to our music and please continue to pray for us.
